Dżemek, Churro & Nacho

Churro was my dream son of Jamiro. It was intended to be a copy of him. And for a long time I couldn't accept the fact that he wasn't. But in the end it turns out that he is exactly what we needed - both me and Jamiro.

Churro brings a lot of joy and carefree into our lives. He is the sweetest dog in the galaxy, loves to cuddle and has no respect for human space at all.

He is not the most confident dog in daily life, but whenever something is too much for him - he comes for support and looks for contact with me. He loves social reward, loves touch and being close to a human.

He is wary of strangers at first, just in case he likes to bark at someone, only to be his new friend in 3 minutes. There is not an ounce of aggression in him.

He enjoys interacting with other dogs, sometimes more willingly than I would like. He likes to play, but he's not pushy. Growing up, he had some silly male ideas, but I knocked them out of him pretty quickly, and he's been a peaceful ragbag ever since.

As a pup, he required a little more time in training to achieve the quality and style of work I wanted. He just matured longer and didn't have as perfect a natural fetch as his father. However, already in his first season, he showed that he is an outstanding sports dog and won 4 Frisbee Champion titles in his first year of competition.

He is resistant to pressure, which in everyday life often makes me want to rip his head off. However, in training and in competition, there is NOTHING that would discourage him from winning. He is completly different dog at work than in daily life - very confident, doesn't care about anything around, you can see that this is what he loves, what makes him feel unstoppable and strong. He draws amazing conclusions, doesn't give up, doesn't care about my emotions. He's pushy like dad, he's smart like dad, but he doesn't care as much as dad. And he's simply brilliant (just like dad).

He had the opportunity to prove himself on sheep twice and each time he showed great commitment, natural instinct and stubbornness. Already at the age of 16 weeks he went on heads without hesitation.

Churro has grown up to be a really great dog. It took time to get there, but I wouldn't trade it for anything right now. He has this inner calmness that allows him to reflect and is not overly reactive. He doesn't care that much. He loves to check everything and go everywhere. He is a typical extrovert who constantly expresses his opinion on everything, pulls on the leash and jumps and yells like crazy when he meets someone he knows.

He is just our cute, crazy, little genius.

I'm not sure yet if he'll be available for breeding. He has some food allergies and that's his only health issues, but no matter how much I love this dog and how incredible he is at the competition, I think he really could be more relaxed and selfconfident in a daily life situations. But maybe he just needs some more time to mature compeletly like in other venues. We'll see!
